Keith, 70, of 1809 Meridee, Tampa, Fla., only sister of Art Savage, owner- manager of the Din N' Racket of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, April 2, in Tampa. She was born on November 4, 1900 in Rosebush and moved to Mt. Pleasant with her parents in 1917. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1918 and was well known in this area as an accomplished organist and lodge woman. She was a Past Noble Grand of the Call Rebekah, Lodge No. 205 if Mt. Pleasant; Past Worthy High Priestess, Bethel Shrine No. 11, White Shrine of Jerusalem of Lansing; Past President of Bethel Shrine and was employed by the State of Michigan in public instruction in the department of labor. Mrs. Keith was formerly a member of the Calla Rebekah Lodge, No. 205 Amity Chapter, No. 490, O.E.S. Bethel Shrine No. 11 W.S.O.J. Capitol City Court, No. 12, Order of the Amaranth, and was a past high priestess of Club of Bethel Shrine. Surviving besides her brother are: one daughter, Mrs. Wesley (Allegra) Clark of Dimondale; four sons, Robert of Suffolk, Va., Earl of Glendale, Calif.; Fred of Ann Arbor and Lyn of Lansing. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. at the Jessen Funeral Home in Lansing with Rev. Edward A. Libby of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
