All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Mount Pleasant Times 5 May 1911 p1 Death of Mrs. Ervans Mrs. Maria Ervans, a resident of Union township the past forty-two years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. C. Keith, of this city Monday, her seventy-fourth birthday. Mrs. Ervans has been ailing since early last fall and in February was brought to the home of her daughter, since which time she has been confined to her bed. Mrs. Ervans was born in New York state and came to this county forty-two years ago. She was the mother of four children, Mrs O. C. Keith, the only daughter, and M. E. Ervans of Lincoln township, Fred Ervans of Union township, and Ray Ervans of Lansing, the three sons. The funeral was held from the M. E. church Wednesday at 2 o'clock under the direction of the W.R.C. of which the deceased was a member. Rev. Thos. Cox officiated.
