Tri-County Banner (Blanchard, MI) - 3 May 1933
Oscar U OBERLIN, son of Jacob and Elsie OBERLIN, was born 25 Apr 1868 and departed
this life 27 Apr 
1933, age 65y and 2d. 

On 25 December 1886 he was united in marriage to Ruthie WOLCOTT and to this union
were born 13 
children, two of which has preceded him in death. 

He leaves to mourn their loss his wife; seven sons, Chauncey, Purl, Ernest, Ezra,
Floyd and Forrest; and 
four daughters, Alsie, Mina, Lucy and Reva. 

Six brothers and one sister; 35 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; besides a
host of other 
relatives and friends. He was greatly loved by all and will be sadly missed. 

The funeral services was held Sunday afternoon from the Wesleyan Church, Rev. E.D.
JEFFRIES 
officiating. Interment was at Decker Cemetery.
