Ruth Ann WOLCOTT was born to the late Rev. Henry and Ruth WOLCOTT in Millbrook
township 16 Jun 
1869 and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucy MOCKERMAN, on 20 Dec
1941 at the 
age of 72 years, 6 months and 4 days.

She was the last living child of the WOLCOTT family. 

Whe was married to Oscar OBERLIN on 25 Dec 1886. He preceded her in death eight
years ago.

To this union was born 13 children, two of whom died in infancy, Marion and Archie,
Chauncey, Clifton, 
Ernest of Blanchard, Purl of Big Rapids, Ezra of Lakeview, Floyd of Mecosta, and
Forrest of Grand 
Rapids, Alsie DECKER of Newaygo, Mina DECKER, Lucy MOCKERMAN and Reva WELCH all of
Blanchard.

Left to mourn their loss of a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother are
11 children, 42 
grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. 

She spent all her life here except for three years which they lived in Empire, MI.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 2:00 from the Wesleyan Methodist Church,
Rev. E.D. 
JEFFRIES, assisted by Rev. Keith McROBERTS, officiated. Interment was made at the
Decker Cemetery.
