The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgenwebarchives.org *********************************************************************** Obit: Rosena Luckhard Faber, 1914: Isabella County, Michigan Rosena Luckhard was born in Bridgwater, Washtenaw county, this state on October 13, 1844 and died in Denver township, Isabella county on April 11, 1920, after a lingering illness of five months. Since the death of her husband, which took place in 1914, deceased made her home with their son Herman, and his wife where her last illness occurred and she was given every attention which faithful hearts could offer. The marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Faber took place at Sebewaing in 1863 and in 1903 they came to Isabella county bringing their family of seven sons and three daughters. With the exception of two of the latter the children are all settled not far from their parents' old home. Mrs. Ema Spaeth lives in Turner, this state, and Mrs. Julia Kuhl in Bayport. Mrs. Ida Hart and her brothers, John, Leonard and Herman, live in Denver township, William in Wise and Jacob, Fred and Edward at Rosebush. There are 20 grandchildren and three great grandcildren surviving. Funeral services were held on April 14 with burial in the Denver cemetery, Rev. O. Rickert, Lutheran pastor from Oviatt, assisted by the Leaton choir, conducted the last rites. (Published in the Isabella Co Enterprise April 23 1920)
