Clare Sentinel, Friday, October 5, 1900
Mrs. Herman Snear of Vernon dropped dead at her home Wednesday afternoon just 
before six o'clock.  She had been trouble with her heart for the past year but 
her condition was not thought serious.  She was sixty-two years of age and 
leaves a husband, three sons and four daughters.  The funeral was conducted 
from the Loomis church today, Rev. Palmer of the Clare F. M. church 
officiating.  Deceased was beloved by a large circle of friends who with 
relatives mourn her death.
