Adeltha TAYLOR was born in Cataraugus, Genesee Co, NY 4 Apr 1853. She came with her
parents when 
six months old. They settled in Muskegon Co. When she was six years old they moved
to Allendale, 
Ottawa Co, and settled on a farm where she lived until she married William TAYLOR in
1873 and went 
to Branch Co, MI. In 1880 they moved to Isabella Co where she has lived since until
about six years ago 
when she came to Belding. 

To this union 10 children were born: Lorenzo and Irvin of Bronson MI; Dexter,
Jennie, Addie of Belding; 
also one stepson, Seth, of Rosebush; Ralph, George, Ada, Mary and Arthur preceded
her in death. Her 
husband preceded her in death 11 May 1924. 

Died 25 Feb 1935, aged 81 years, 10 months and 21 days. Funeral was held at Pine
River church on 28 
Feb. Interment at Pine River. 

She was a loyal companion, a loving mother and a good Christian woman. Has been a
member of Trinity 
Missionary Society for many years. Always doing what she could to help in the work
of the church.
