Isabella County Enterprise - 6 Dec 1918
Truman TAYLOR, one of the earliest pioneers of Rolland, was buried from the Pine
River Church 
Wednesday, at the age of 77. A widow, two sons, and two daughters survive. Mr.
TAYLOR claimed to 
have sown the first wheat in Rolland Twp, which he brought from Coldwater 56 years
ago.
