 Edwin B. Whitehead
 
Solumn requiem mass was sung in Sacred Heart church Monday, May 21 for Edwin B.
Whitehead, who died May 18 after a long illness of myocarditis.  The Reverend J.
Zaskowski, the Reverend J. Lopez, and the Reverend Mr. Broughy sang the last
rites.  Burial was made in Calvery Cemetery under the direction of J. J. Rush.
 A life long member of Isabella county, Mr. Whitehead was born in Union Township
on November 7, 1878.
 Surviving him are: his wife, Delia; four daughters, Mrs. Vergal DeBois, Mrs.
Laura Campbelll, Mrs. Florence Campbell,  and Mrs. Lucille Leonard: one son,
George of St. Louis; three sisters, Miss Ardella Whitehead,  Miss Gretchen
Whitehead, and Mrs. Vesta Ash, of Mt. Pleasant; and two aunts, Mrs. Carrie Moss,
and Mrs. Susie Hoop.
