Death:  Jan. 15, 2004 - Mount Pleasant, Isabella County, Michigan
W. Harold Wagner, age 85, of Mt. Pleasant MI died Thursday, January 15, 2004, 
at the Country Place Senior Care Center in Mt. Pleasant MI. He was born on 
Tuesday, September 3, 1918 in Denver Township, Isabella Co., MI, the son of 
Earl and Florence (Little) Wagner. Harold was a lifetime area resident. On 
August 17, 1968, Harold married Winnifred Shackleton in Mt. Pleasant MI. He 
worked as a custodian and supervisor for Central Michigan University from 
March 1, 1954, until his retirement in 1982. Harold was a member of the Leaton 
United Methodist Church, Leaton, Isabella Co., MI. Harold is survived by his 
sister, Mrs. Betty (Lyle) Jenkins of Mt. Pleasant MI; a niece, Patty and Randy 
Brickner; a grand niece; a grand nephew; three brothers-in-law a sister-in-
law; and a special long-time friend, Bill Johnson. He was preceded in death by 
his parents and his wife in 1995. Funeral services were held at the Helms 
Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant MI with Rev. Lonnie Severance of Heartland 
Hospice officiating.  Interment will be in Denver Township Cemetery 
(Riverlawn), Isabella Co., MI.
