John Watson, Sr.
Birth:  Nov. 1, 1864 - Hastings County, Ontario, Canada 
Death:  Apr. 4, 1959 - Mount Pleasant, Isabella County, Michigan
Spouse: Martha (Robert) Watson (1874-1958)
John Watson Sr. of Denver Township, Isabella County, MI, died at 4:30 this 
morning at the Community Hospital where he had been for nine days. Mr. Watson 
was born November 1, 1864, near Hastings, Canada. He had lived in this county 
since the age of nine. Funeral services will be held in the Stinson Funeral 
Home. Interment will be in Denver Cemetery, Isabella County, MI with Rev. 
Charles Elliott officiating. Those who survive are: four sons, James E. of 
Grand Rapids MI, Robert E. of Rosebush MI, John Jr. of Mt. Pleasant MI, and 
Alex of Mt. Pleasant MI; one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Dart of Mt. Pleasant MI; 
one sister, Mrs. Catherine Dibble of Lansing MI; ten grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren.
