June A. Davis, 72, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 
home.  Funeral services for June will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 
11 a.m. from Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Dr. Stephen Shugert officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
June was born on June 14, 1935 in Grover Hill, Ohio, the daughter of Elsie 
(Ruple) and Roscoe McCallister. She graduated from Paulding High School. June 
married Donald "Gene" Davis. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1996. 
She worked as an Occupational Therapist for Isabella County Medical Care 
Facility for many years and the Pixie Restaurant. June was a member of the 
Moose Lodge and the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening and 
camping.
June is survived by her companion, Bruce Jones of Mt. Pleasant; children, 
Rolla (Sheilah) Davis, Judy (Jack) Reeves, Douglas Eugene Davis and Duane 
(Sue) Davis all of Mt. Pleasant MI; grandchildren, Ann Marie (Tracy) Davis, 
Nena (Don) Davis, Jeremy (Sarah) Reeves, Julida (Andre) Griffin, Amanda 
(Brock) Doug, Korie (Alan) Davis and Katie Davis and great-grandchildren, 
Damon, Devin, Javira, Andre Jr., Tyler, Austin and Kyle. 
June was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; brothers, Francis and Floyd; 
and sisters, Myrtie and LaRena.
