"K.P." was an attorney and very successful Mt. Pleasant oilman. He married, as 
his second wife, Eleanor Russell and they had three sons; Walter Russell, 
Kavanaugh Payne "Kip", and Alec Frank. "K.P." was mayor of Mt, Pleasant.
