Additional Comments:
Henry Albert Welsh, 83, of Route 5 Mt. Pleasant, a resident of Isabella County 
for the past 57 years, died March 27, 1947. He had been ill for the past 3 
years. Funeral services for Mr. Welsh were conducted Sunday, March 30, at 2:30 
pm from the Leaton Methodist Church with burial in Woodland Cemetery, Rosebush 
MI. The Rev. Robert Straley and the Rev. E. Mayhew officiated with Stinson's 
in charge of arrangements. Mr. Welsh was born July 24, 1863, in county Peel 
Ontario Canada. He was engaged in the occupation of farming during his 
lifetime. Mr. Welsh was a member of Leaton Methodist Church. Surviving are his 
wife, Melissa; a son, William; daughter, Violet DeStoop; two brothers, Wesley 
Welsh and Wyman Welsh of Mt. Pleasant MI; and a sister, Mrs. Edward Cameron of 
Rosebush MI; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
