Mrs. Laura Blodgess, also of Jackson, so badly injured that she may die and three other persons were injured when an automobile driven by Mrs. Blodgett was struck by an eastbound Michigan Central train on the Wildwood avenue crossing Thursday night. The injured are John Jacobs, Saginaw, Eva Fifer, Battle Creek and Ernst Snyder, Jackson. The train, a passenger, was running late and apparently the autoists did not see its approach. They had been at Battle Creek and were returning home. All the injured are in Jackson hospitals. Mrs. Blodgett is terribly injured, one foot being severed and the other leg broken, besides internal injuries.
