Markiewicz, Eugene John -
Of Jackson, passed away Friday, June 20, 2003 at the age of 81 years.  Mr. 
Markiewicz was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran and served in the Civilian 
Conservation Corps and was retired from Diecast Corporation after 20 years of 
service.  He is survived by three sons, Michael Markiewicz of Myrtle Beach, 
SC, Mark (Patty) Markiewicz of Cheboygan and Robert Markiewicz of Jackson; two 
grandchildren, Olivia and Mark Markiewicz; one sister, Evelyn Hartman; one 
brother, Jim Markiewicz; numerous nieces and nephews.  Mr. Markiewicz was 
preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Markiewicz; two brothers, Carl and 
Leonard Markiewicz and one sister, Dorothy Markiewicz.  Funeral services will 
be held Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  The Reverend 
Michael Mason officiating.  Military Honors and interment will follow at 
Roseland Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral 
home on Wednesday from noon until service time.  In lieu of flowers, those who 
wish may direct contributions in Mr. Markiewicz's name to the charity of one's 
choice.
