MARKIEWICZ, Joseph J. - Of Jackson passed away Friday at Foote Hospital, age 
87.  Surviving are his wife Bernice; two sons and their wives, Theodore and 
Ernestine, Henry and Jean, all of Jackson; one sister, Anna Serafin; four 
grandsons, David Tom, Chris and Dale; two great-grandchildren, Jennifer and 
Joseph; several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by a sister Frances 
Kurzynowski and a brother, Anthony.  Mr. Markiewicz was a member of Polish 
National Alliance.  He is at the S. D. Lauer Funeral Home where services will 
be Monday 9:30 a.m. and to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.  Interment 
St. John's Cemetery.  Bible Vigil Sunday 7:00 p.m.
The Family will receive friends Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 
to 9 p.m.
