Surviving are his wife Catherine (Nee) Kokoczka; three daughters, Mrs. George (Paula) Fillmore and Mrs. Don (Susan) Trefry both of Jackson, Teresa at home; two sons, Robert and Martin both at home; three grandsons; his father Theodore Markiewicz of Jackson; two sisters Mrs. Dorothy Parylak and Mrs. Don (Evelyn) Hartman both of Jackson; three brothers James and Eugene both of Jackson, Carl of New York, nieces and nephews. Deceased was a World War II Veteran and a member of William Sparks DAV Chapter 10. Mr. Markiewicz is at the Labedz Funeral Home, 1035 Cooper, where services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. and St. Stanislaus Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Rosary Friday 6:00 p.m. by the Reverend H.
