John Duckham
b. 1844  /  d. 1881

Additional Comments:
John Duckham was born in England in the year, 1844.  As of this submission it is
not known where in England he was born. He immigrated to America probably
between September of 1870 and May of 1873, probably around the age of 27 years.
He preceded his wife and son's crossing of the Atlantic to come to America as
was common practice.  It is known that John's son, Frank, was a year year old
when his Mother and he (Frank) immigrated, and Frank would have been a year old
in May of 1872.  Given that fact, and knowing that John might have left for
America not knowing that his wife was with child, has lead to the conclusion as
to when his immigration to this country took place.  It is not known whether
John became a naturalized citizen of this country, or not.  There is also no
information as to an exact DOB or DOD of John.

John was my Maternal, Great Great Grandfather.
