William & Hanna Evans
1823-1901 / 1822-1858

William Evans was born in Bristol, England.  He met Hannah Browning while in 
England and were likely married there around 1847.  On June 8, 1852, Hannah 
and their two children departed from Britol on a ship called the Mary Ann for 
a new life in America (probably to meet up with William who traveled 
separately).  After a short stay in New York, the Evans family settled in 
Jackson, Michigan.  Hannah had an untimely death in 1858 at the age of 36.  
Willam eventually remarried to Johanna O'Donell.
