Kalamazoo Gazette 1-1-1965
Kim J. Clason, 18, of Kalamazoo, was killed early this morning when the car
which he was driving failed to negotiate a turn on W. Maple Street in Kalamazoo,
jumped a curb and sliced into a tree, ripping off the left side of the car.  The
victim, a June graduate of Central High School in Kalamazoo, is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Clason.  His father owns the Earl L. Clason Advertising Agency in
Kalamazoo, is advertising manager of the Barn Theatre and an active member of
the Kalamazoo Power Squadron.  The boy had planned to attend Kellogg Community
College in Battle Creek this fall.
