Battle Creek Enquirer – April 30, 1976
Freddie "Ray" Hudson, 80, of Urbandale, Fla., who was  a former resident of 
Battle Creek and Kalamazoo died Thursday in Winter Haven (Fla.) hospital after 
a long illness.

 He was born in Shepherd and lived in Battle Creek during the 1920's and 30's, 
when he was employed by Battle Gas. Moving to Kalamazoo, he worked for more 
than 25 years with Precision Castings, retiring when the company closed.

He moved to Florida about six years ago.

Hudson was preceded in death by two wives, Lulu in 1941 and Betty in 1967. 
He is survived by his wife; 2 sons; 2 daughters; stepdaughter; a brother; a 
sister; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be  11 am. Monday At Langeland Memorial Chapel in Kalamazoo
