MANION, Richard R. of Toledo, OH formerly of Kalamazoo, MI.
Age 87, passed away Saturday, December 4, 1999 at Flower Hospital extended 
care facility, Sylvania, OH.  He was born July 28, 1912 in Kalamazoo, MI, to 
tom and Jennie (Vandersalm) (sic) Manion.  Richard worked for 30 years as a 
Die Cutter for the Illinois Envelope Company, retiring in 1977.  A decorated 
U.S. WWII Army veteran, Richard was also a baseball umpire for many years.  He 
was preceded in death by his wife, Frances J. (Whitney) Manion.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sujkowski 
Funeral Home, Northpointe...where funeral services will commence at 1 p.m.  
Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, OH.
