MANION, Mr. Maron E. (Gene), 9916 Sprinkle Rd, Portage.
Passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1979, Mr. Manion was born Dec. 1, 1932, in 
Kalamazoo, son of Maron and Nellie Manion and was a lifelong resident of 
Kalamazoo and Portage.  He is a graduate of Comstock High School, served with 
the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, was employed by the Rex Paper Co., 
the Buck Tool Co. and by Continental Can Co.  He was a former member of the 
American Legion.  On Nov. 15, 1952, he was married to Betty McNett, who 
survives.  
He was preceded in death by his father in December of 1979.  
Memorial services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Langeland Memorial Chapel....
Paster Gerald T. McCabe, of Marranatha Baptist Church, officiating, Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest.
