Kalamazoo Gazette April 18, 1948
R. T. McNees, 61,died suddenly Wednesday at Receiving hospital,  Detriot.

He was in Detroit to visit his step-daughter
He lived in Kalamazoo and was employeed at the Bryant Paper Company 
until his retirement in 1947.
He leaves his wife, the former Mabel Crawford of Lawrence; two sons, the step-
daughter; his mother, Mrs. Rose McNees, Dowagiac; a brother, two sisters, and 
several nieces and nephews.
