Nathaniel McNees
Dies at Age of 76

Five weeks after the death of his wife, Nathaniel McNees, a native of Indiana 
and a resident of Michigan most of his life, died Saturday at his home in North
Burdick street. He was 76 
 Born in Farmland. Ind. in 1863,
Mr. McNees came to Michigan with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J McNees. when he 
was six months old. Since, his marriage in 1884 to Bertha Clara, he had resided 
until recently in Bloomingdale township, Van Buren County.

 Surviving are three sons, Amos And Bert, Kalamazoo and Clarence, Anaheim, 
Calif., two daughters, Lottie Hartford, and Catherine, Kalamazoo, and nine 
grandchildren.
