He was born in 1890 in Breedsville, MI, the son of Taylor S. & Alamada McNess and had been a resident here for 40 years, being a plasterer by trade. He was a veteran of World War 1, he served with CO. E, 28th Infantry, and also with the 338th Infantry, participating in actions in the St. Mihiel and Meuse Arrogone sectors and was with the army of occupation at Coblenz, Germany. Surviving are his wife, 4 daughters, 3 sons, 1 sister, 3 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 Thursday from the Joldersma and Klein Chapel, with burial at Bloomingdale.
