Kalamazoo Gazette – May 11, 1992
Stanley H. McNees, died, Sunday morning, May 10 1992, Mr. McNees was born  in 
Kalamazoo County, the son of Marion and Maude (Patterson) McNees, and was a 
lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. Prior to his retirement in 1972, he 
was employed for 44 years at the James River Corporation.

 He was active in the Senior Bowling League. In 1933, he married the former 
Virginia Mott, who preceded him in death on October 28, 1986. 
 He was also preceded in death  by a grandson, Michael McNees; and by 4 
brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are 3 sons and their spouses; 9 
grandchildren; a brother, 3 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. 
Services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at the Langeland Memorial Chapel with 
the Rev. Mr. James Goldschmeding of the New Life Community Church officiating. 
Internment  Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. 
Friends may meet the family this evening from 7-9 pm at the chapel. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
