MRS. M.J. REDMOND DIES AT AGE 62
Member of Pioneer Kalamazoo Family to Be Buried Wednesday

     Mrs. Michael J. Redmond, 62, of 540 Phelps avenue, died at 3 Sunday
afternoon in Borgess hospital, after an illness of six months.  She was born in
Kalamazoo, Caroline Frances Binder, daughter of a pioneer family.  She was
married in 1900.  Mrs. Redmond was a lifelong member of St. Augustine church and
of the Altar Society.
     In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy
Woolley, San Diego; Mrs. Evelyn Lemon, Detroit, and Miss Helen Redmond,
Kalamazoo; a son, Edward Redmond, Kalamazoo; one granddaughter and a sister,
Mrs. Harry Hyman, Kalamazoo.
     The funeral will be held at 9:30 Wednesday morning from St. Augustine church.
