Mrs. Margaret J. Shanley
1311 Bronx--

 Passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8, 1978, at Birch Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Shanley was born in Kalamazoo Feb. 20, 1903, the daughter of August
and Julia (Kopp) Garske and was a life ling resident here.
She was retired from the Kalamzoo Paper Co.
Mrs. Shanley was member of St. Joseph Cathloic Church and St. Joseph Altar
Society, Gold Star Mothers and was Past Commander of Red Arrow Auxillary
No. 1520. She was proceeded in death by her husband Bernard M. Shanley, in 1965 
and a son Robert J. Shanley in 1944.

Friends are being received at the Redmond Funeral Home where the rosary will be
recited Tuesday evening at 7:30: Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Cathlic
Church 12 Noon Wednesday. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial may be
made to the Sisters of St. Joseph Fontbonne Manor.
