Wednesday, 22 Feb 1888 Kalamazoo Gazette on Page 4 column 3
"Mrs. Nettie Striebel died Monday at 405 Winstead street of Bright's disease 
aged 27 years. The remains will be taken to Plainwell this morning for 
internment!" 





Additional Comments:
That means Nettie Striebel died on Monday, February, 20, 1888. Since she was 
reported to be 27, she would have been born around (1888-27=) 1861. (Or more 
accurately, between February 20, 1860 and February 20, 1861) 


Nettie Caroline Shinville de Striebel,  was the first wife of William 
Frederick Striebel who was born on April 1861 in Louiseville, Kentucky. Nettie 
was the mother of Louis Benjamin Striebel who was born to her in Cooper, 
Kalamazoo County, Michigan in February of 1885. Author knows nothing more 
about her at this tinme
