Schoolcraft Express Feb 4, 1954
Charlotte E. TAYLOR - died Feb. 14 (1954) at Golden Age Nursing Home operated 
by her granddaughter, Mrs. Marian MICHELSON. Charlotte Emma GIBBS born Apr 17, 
1868 in Hastings, England, dau. of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel GIBBS. At age 24, 
married Frederick George TAYLOR of Seddleswombe, England, in New York City, 
coming to Vicksburg where he farmed for 6 yrs, they returned to her home in 
Hastings where they lived for 8 yrs., then came back to Vicksburg and Prairie 
Ronde area. He died Sept. 1918. Survived by six sons, 2 daughters, Fred J., 
Mrs. Mahala STIVER of Schoolcraft, Harold of Portage, Reg R. & Mrs. Rose TUCKER 
of Kalamazoo, Wm. J. of Benton Harbor and Leon N. and Leonard J. of Detroit, 1 
daughter Agnes died 1935. Leaves 32 grandchildren, 24 great grandchidlren, 1 
great great grandchild, three sisters living in England (London), Smith chapel,
