Kalamazoo Gazette
WOOD, CASPER J - 1509 Lay Blvd., passed away Sunday evening, July 11, 1971. 
Mr. WOOD was born Oct. 21, 1891, in Williams, Mich., and was a lifelong 
resident of Kal and Van Buren County. He was the son of James and Eliza Jane 
(Kridler) WOOD. Before his retirement, he was employed by the Brown Co. for 27 
years, served in the Navy in World War I. Surviving are his wif; one son; one sister 
and 3 nieces. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 3 o'clock at the 
Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, Pastor Keith Kaynor of Bethel Baptist 
Church, officiating. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
