He was born at Geneseo, Livingston county, N.Y. He served three years in the war. By trade he was a mason and ornamental worker. He leaves a widow and three sons, Stanley, Leigh and one younger child; also two sisters, Mrs. E. annible of Petoskey, Mich., and Mrs. Nancy Whaley of Rochester, N. Y., and one brother John McMurray of San Francisco, Cal. The funeral will be held at his late home at 2 o'clock this afternoon; services conducted by Rev. Thomas E. Barr; burial at Oshtemo.
