Kalamazoo Gazette
William L. Wooldridge died on 23 May 1964. The obituary was carried in the 
Kalamazoo Gazette on 25 May 1964 and reads: "William L. Wooldridge 6060 North 
7th Passed away Monday Morning. Mr. Wooldridge was born Oct. 31, 1895, in 
Dakota, Ill., the son of William and Frances Arbogast and had been a resident 
here for the past 50 years. Before retirement, he was employed as a core man 
at the Bryant Division of the Allied Paper Co. for 33 years. He was a World 
War I Veteran and a member of Joseph B. Westnedge Post No. 36. Mr. Wooldridge 
was married to Evelyn Parr, Oct. 14, 1921, who survives. Surviving besides the 
wife are: one sister, Mrs. Oscar Drake; 3 nieces and one nephew. Friends may 
call at the Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home. Service arrangements to be 
announced later." Note: This obituary should read the, son of William and 
Frances (Arbogast) Wooldridge.
