Next to this tombstone is the tombstone of his parents, William and Margaret (Ivey) Grice. Belle was the daughter of Chester A. Williams (1825 - 1894) and Harriette (Tallman) Williams (1832 - 1918), who are also buried here. Chester was an early settler in Alamo Township, Kalamazoo County, MI. He settled here with brothers Alfred Williams and John Williams and a small whistlestop town named after the family thrived for years along the Kalamazoo and South Haven Railroad.
