Williams, John P. (1827 - 1905).  John Williams settled in Alamo Township with 
brothers Alfred Williams and Chester Williams and a small whistlestop town 
named after the family thrived for years along the Kalamazoo and South Haven 
Railroad.  John married Sarah (died 1883) and Jane.
