(1875 - 1936) and Florence M. (1880 - 1937) Williams. Harry was a mail carrier for many years in Alamo, starting in 1902. Harry was the son of Chester A. Williams (1825 - 1894) and Harriette (Tallman) Williams (1832 - 1918), who are also buried here. Chester was an early settler in Alamo Township, Kalamazoo County, MI. He settled here with brothers Alfred Williams and John Williams and a small whistlestop town named after the family thrived for years along the Kalamazoo and South Haven Railroad.
