Edgar L. (1872 - 1959) and Sarah G. (1873 - 1966) Williams.  Edgar was a 
farmer who spent many years on the original Williams farm.

Edgar was the first child of Chester A. Williams (1825 - 1894) and Harriette 
(Tallman) Williams (1832 - 1918), who are also buried here.  Chester was an 
early settler in Alamo Township, Kalamazoo County, MI.  He settled here with 
brothers Alfred Williams and John Williams and a small whistlestop town named 
after the family thrived for years along the Kalamazoo and South Haven 
Railroad.
