Jacob G. Mein 1912 - 2003   Oct. 21, 1912 - June 24, 2003, husband of Margaret
and son of Garrit ( Geert) and Wilhemina.  Jake was the Portage Fire Chief from
1942 to 1977.                                                                  
                                                                               
       Margaret F. (Miles) Mein 1911 - 2001   Nov. 12, 1911 - Oct. 2001, wife of
Jacob Mein.  The children of Jacob & Margaret: Brenda, Jacqueline, Nancy, and an
infant son.
