Mary Wife of Cornelous Christian  1852-1906

Mary Verburg Christian is the daughter of Marinus Christian Verburg (1811-1882)
and Jannetje Mulder (1820-1901)both are buried in Riverside Cemetery.

Mary Verburg Christian's siblings are:

01.  Cornelius Verburg (1843 -    ) born Netherlands

02.  Jeanette Verburg (1845 -    )  born Netherlands

03  Cornelia (Kate) Verburg (1850 - 1918) married Peter VandePolder (1847 -  
1925) 1872 in Kalamazoo. Both are buried in Riverside.

04. Jannette M. (Jennie) Verburg (1855 -    ) married Frederick (Neal) J. Auwers
(1853 -    )

05.  Cornelius Verburg (1860 - 1923) married Elizabeth Grimes (1858 - 1921) 
Nov. 1877 in Kalamazoo. 
Cornelius Verburg -  He served as alderman, 5 terms, and as city commissioner 2
terms, carrying, at the time of his election to this office, 28 of 32 precincts.  
He was serving as MAYOR of Kalamazoo at the time of his death, which occurred
October 25, 1923.  His wife, Elizabeth (Grimes) Verburg, was b. in Amsterdam, in
the Netherlands. 
Both are buried in Riverside Cemetery.

06. Elizabeth Anna Verburg (1862 - 1917) married Douwe Roskam (1862 - 1953)
October 1890 in Kalamazoo.  Both are buried in Riverside.

07. Marinus C. Verburg (1863 - 1930) married Elizabeth Heemstra (1859 - 1939) on
December 1883 in Kalamazoo. Both are buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Sioux County,
Orange City, Iowa
