Izaak (Isaac) Vermeulen, Born June 11, 1859 in Waterlandkerkje, Netherlands.  
He married Elizabeth Jansen Risseeuw May 11, 1882 in IJzendijke Netherlands.
They emigrated to the US with two sons, Izaak (Isaac) and Willem (William)in 
April of 1885 and settled in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Isaac died May 13, 1929 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He is buried in Block/Section V Lot 139 with his 2nd wife, Alice Doorn DeBoer 
Vermeulen and children from Alice's 1st marriage to Eise DeBoer (1870 - 1898)
Elizabeth Jansen Risseeuw Vermeulen died in 1900 and is buried in Portage 
Central Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Isaac Vermeulen is my maternal great grandfather.
