Edward A. Noyes, of Vicksburg, was granted a divorce from his wife, Florence Noyes, in the Circuit Court on Saturday. The complaint alleged extreme cruelty. The couple was married on July 30, 1904, and lived together only four weeks. It seems that the trouble occurred through the wife's refusal to leave her father's home and go to the one provided for her by the complainant. The defendants did not appear in court, and the decree was granted. Attorney Schoonmaker appears for the complainant. Cornelius Goodebure, of Kalamazoo, was granted a divorce from Carrie Goodebure, the complaint alleging adultery and extreme cruelty. It was charged by the complainant that the defendant ran away to Galesburg with another man, and that she refused to live with him. The husband was also granted the custody of their four-year-old daughter, Olive. Schoonmaker appeared for the compainant in this case also.
