BRIDE IN CEREMONY THIS MORNING.  <picture of Mrs. Ernest E. Pratt>  St. 
Augustine church was the scene of the wedding of Miss Ruth Kathleen Doe, 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Doe, Douglas avenue, and Ernest E. Pratt, son 
of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Pratt, Sr., Reed avenue at 9 this morning.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Pratt have left on their wedding trip in Northern Michigan after which 
they will reside in Kalamazoo.

25TH ANNIVERSARY.  Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Pratt, 1829 Shaffer, observed their 
25th wedding anniversary Thursday evening with a family dinner at Tur Mai Kai 
restaurant.  The couple's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Terry E. 
Wolters of Davenport, Iowa, joined them for dinner.  Mr. Pratt and the former 
Ruth K. Doe exchanged nuptial vows Aug. 13, 1945, in St. Augustine Catholic 
Church.  The late Rt. Rev. Msgr. John R. Hackett officiated.  Mr. Pratt is 
business manager of the Kalamazoo Medical Center, Galesburg.

PRATT.  Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Pratt, 3530 N. Drake, will observe their 45th 
wedding anniversary Saturday with a family dinner at a local restaurant.  The 
event will be hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Cork 
VanDerWege, Holland.  Mr. Pratt and the former Ruth K. Doe were married Aug. 
13, 1945, in St. Augustine Cathedral.  Monsignor John Hackett officiated.  
They have one grandchild.  Now retired, Mr. Pratt was employed as an 
accountant.
