MARTIN, MARIAN MANION OBSERVING 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.  Mr. and Mrs. Martin 
Manion, 1706 Egleston, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this 
week.  A Mass was celebrated in their honor Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church, and a reception will be held Friday evening in the church hall.  Hosts 
will be the couple's two children and their spouses, Jim and Mary Ann Weston 
of Bloomington, Minn., and Ted and Char Manion of Kalamazoo.  Mr. Manion and 
Marian Fuss were married June 16, 1931, in St. Augustine Catholic Church.  The 
late Rt. Rev. Msgr. John R. Hackett officiated.  In addition to their two 
children, the couple has eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.  Mr. 
Manion is retired from the Illinois Envelope Co., where he was a printer.  He 
and Mrs. Manion have lived in Kalamazoo all of their married life.  <picture
