Kalkaska - Mrs. Catherine A. Little, 87, a resident of Kalkaska County since 
1913, died early Friday morning at Mercy Hospital, Grayling.  
  She was a member of the Excelsior Church of Christ and the W.T.C.U.
  Born in Nappanee County, Indiana on July 28, 1895.  She was the daughter of 
Isaac and Fannie (Berlingcourt) Yoder.
  On February 9, 1914, in Kalkaska, she married Ernest Little, who preceded 
her in death on December 28, 1956.
  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Weldon of St. Petersburgh, 
Fla. and Mrs. Ernestine Coutts of Delaware, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. 
Clara Metzgar of Ossineke; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Knoelinger of Birch Run; 
eighteen grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  One son, Gilbert Metzgar, 
preceded her in death in 1981.  Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m., 
at The Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska, with Kent Stahan officiating.  Burial 
will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.  Memorials may be directed to 
The Excelsior Church of Christ Building Fund.  Friends may call at the funeral 
home after 2 p.m., Sunday.
