He was born March 6, 1921, in Summerfield Township, Clare County, to George and Jennie (Bergey) Pearson. He married Mary Lee (Curns) Pearson of Harrison on Oct. 21, 1975. Mr. Pearson had been a resident of Kalkaska since 1952, when he moved from Harrison to start Kalkaska Screw Products for Tom Fisher. He was employed there for 25 years before retiring in 1978. Surviving are wife Mary Lee Pearson of Kalkaska; four sons, Stanley Sr.. of Gaylord, Roger (Mary) of St. Clair Shores, Steven of Rapid City and Leon (Maine) of Sand Lake; daughter Ami Jo (Tim) Fisher of Kalkaska; stepsons Robert (Judy) Pearson of Harrison and Lester (Mary) Pearson Jr. of Marion; four stepdaughters, Connie (Don) Wheat of Marion, Jennie Pearson of Harrison, Tonya Pearson of Marion and Patricia (Mark) Eves of Kalkaska; 10 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; sister Dorreen Henry of Harrison; brother Leon (Jean) Pearson of Howell; stepmother and father-in-law, Leo and Nellie (Curns) Piper of Harrison; uncle Jesse Bergey of Flint; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His father, mother, three sisters, two brothers, one son, and all his aunts and uncles preceded him in death. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs., June 12, at Summerfield Township Cemetery, Clare county. Friends may call at Wolfe funeral Home in Kalkaska from 5 to 9 p.m. Wed., June 11.
