The Kalkaskian 05/26/1898
The Kalkaskian, 05/26/1898. Died at his home, Orange Twp, of Peritonitis, Mr. 
J.W. Reynolds, in his 55th year of age. Deceased had been sick a short time. 
Funeral services, Drake school house & remains brought to Kalkaska for burial. 
Wildren was well known & will be much missed by numerous friends.  Surviving: 
Wife Ida Julie (White) whom he married in 10/06/1869 NY, children: son Edwin 
Emile (Sarah Gertrude Beach) Reynolds & daughter, Lena Mae (Perry) Lossing.

Additional Comments:
Family records show him as Jesse Wildren Reynolds.  NY Census records, as 
Wildren Jesse Reynolds, son of Jesse/Lucy Vickery Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was 
also a Mayflower decendent through his mother's ancestry.
