Martin Hiemstra was a wood worker and owned his own business called" Hiemstra Wood Products".
He came to the U.S. in aprox. 1912
His port of entry may have been New York
He settled in Kent county, Wyoming Township, Grandville, Michigan.
He was Killed by a car/train accident; place of death was Ottawa County, Spring Lake Township,
City of Ferrysburg, Michigan. He is buried in Grandville Cemetery,in Grandville, Michigan.
