Tyrone Township, District No. 1 School- 1872

	   The new school director in 1872 for Tyrone Township District No. 1, 
J.M. Armstrong, recorded the school census according to family groups, not 
alphabetically by last name. This style makes searching the list very 
difficult. The spelling of names is also different; with some first and last 
names, and may make following you family group interesting.
          This was the first year the White family, my own family, is listed as 
going to school. I know they moved to the area in 1871 and the first names of 
the children are misspelled for them as well, but I got an insight into the 
pronounciation of their names with Mr. Armstrong’s more phonetic spelling and 
for that I value recording what is listed in the journal.
